Tim Hely

Tim is an experienced senior leader with 25 years in the British and Australian armies, including six years of operational service and extensive work in joint and international environments. His career also spans 13 years advising a broad range of Australian Government agencies, including Defence, Health, Industry, Services Australia and the AFP, as well as supporting humanitarian operations with NGOs in West Africa.Tim brings strong capability in project and program management, capability and policy development, audit and assurance, and risk reduction. He has delivered organisational reform, strengthened governance, and improved performance through post-activity analysis, baseline reviews and structured change initiatives. Notably, he authored Snowy Hydro Limited’s Emergency, Crisis and Security Frameworks, providing strategic security guidance for major infrastructure contingency response options and security capability uplift. Recognised for his ability to create clarity and alignment in complex environments, Tim builds strong relationships and drives collaboration to synchronise teams, processes and client priorities. He is deeply committed to delivering outcomes that meet organisational needs while working in close partnership with client teams.
