Nick is a highly experienced management consultant with nearly two decades advising federal and state governments on strategic, financial and organisational performance. He brings a mature, trusted-advisor mindset and a deep understanding of the public sector environment, earned through long-standing partnerships with some of Australia’s most complex agencies.
Nick’s career began at the Office of National Assessments, where he worked as a researcher and foreign liaison officer. He has since supported major Commonwealth entities including the Department of Immigration and Border Protection, the Department of Finance, the Department of Defence, the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Australian Taxation Office, along with a range of smaller agencies. This breadth gives him a whole-of-government perspective that senior executives value when navigating reform, investment decisions and operational challenges.
A recognised specialist in financial and commercial advisory, Nick’s capabilities span cost estimation, activity-based costing, government-service pricing, financial modelling, tender evaluation, New Policy Proposal development, and shared-services policy and implementation. He regularly contributes to high-value programs requiring robust analysis, disciplined governance, and clear strategic alignment.
Nick also brings experience across change management, risk, business-case development and policy design, supporting executives to drive organisational change and achieve measurable outcomes. His approach combines rigorous analytical frameworks with pragmatic, actionable advice that supports informed decision-making at the enterprise level.
