Jess is a commercial specialist with more than six years’ experience in Australia’s Defence industry, bringing strong expertise in ASDEFCON tendering, contracting and Defence supply chain management. She has held roles across the Australian Government and major global Defence Primes, giving her a comprehensive understanding of commercial, strategic and policy drivers within the sector.Jess’s specialist capability is in Australian Industry Capability (AIC). She has contributed to the development of key Defence industry policies and grant programs, and has led AIC initiatives across industry engagement, tender response development and program delivery. Her work bridges the perspectives of government, primes, SMEs and academia, enabling a holistic approach to strengthening sovereign Defence industry outcomes.With strong skills in strategic writing, engagement and commercial advisory, Jess supports organisations to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that optimise Defence capability, build industry readiness and deliver long-term value.
