Peter Herak – Senior Manager
Peter is a highly skilled and experienced professional, who has worked in and around the Australian Government for 17 years. He has held a variety of positions across a range of different fields and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to each new role he undertakes.
Peter possesses excellent project and program management skills and a wide range of strategic, policy, event management, grant management and risk & financial management experience, and is highly skilled in the development of corporate plans and policy documentation. Peter’s further strengths include his ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders, the ability to facilitate workshops, highly developed leadership skills through managing teams, and the ability to adapt to a changing and flexible working environment.
As well as being highly organised, efficient and courteous, Peter is known for his ability to liaise successfully with people from all levels of government and non-government organisations, both domestically and internationally is a major asset to any team. Peter continually seeks out developmental opportunities for himself and his staff, enjoys working in new and challenging environments, and his broad experience, excellent communication skills and strong history of leadership across numerous roles makes him a major asset to any organisation.
Before joining Parbery, Peter’s most recent work was with IP Australia and, prior to that, with the Department of Health and the National Health and Medical Research Council. In addition, Peter has completed training in areas such as: Microsoft Project (Intermediate); Strategic Thinking; Managing Small and Large Teams; and Advanced Project Management.
