Brendan Egan – Senior Manager

Brendan has worked as a senior executive in the for-purpose sector for the past 14 years. Most recently he held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) with Capital Health Network Limited. As COO, Brendan was part of the Executive Leadership team and provided strategic advice to the CEO and Board of the company.

He managed a diverse team delivering a range of solutions and initiatives to meet the organisation’s objectives, and the responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer. He also managed relationships with several stakeholders including fellow Primary Health Network organisations, service providers, government, funders and community. In addition to being the COO, Brendan held the position of Company Secretary where he provided expert governance advice to the Board and managed relationships with more than 1200 individual and organisational members.

Brendan has worked across several fields including primary health, aged care, community services, social housing, arts and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy. He also has extensive experience in strategic planning, governance, business management and stakeholder engagement.

Brendan is passionate about social change and the possibilities of developing better social outcomes for the community. He is particularly interested in leading organisations to create lasting and effective change. Brendan’s extensive executive career and diversity of experience ensure that he consistently has an impact in the roles he has held. He seeks new challenges and welcomes new opportunities to apply his skills and experience for positive impact.
